Oral presentation during ICT Open 2024

I gave an oral presentation at NWO ICT.OPEN 2024 on utility-based multi-objective reinforcement learning for infrastructural maintenance planning.
The talk introduced MO-DCMAC to a mixed audience of researchers and practitioners, focusing on the design decision at its centre: instead of inventing a proxy reward, we turned FMECA — the risk-scoring methodology Amsterdam’s asset managers already use to assess maintenance plans — into the training objective, so that the learned policy optimizes the quantity practitioners actually act on.
